With over one million sales across MP3s, CDs, and vinyl worldwide, DnC Groove has established himself as a leading figure in the international electronic music scene.
His career began in 2004 when he took part in a contest in Amsterdam organized by the Dutch Pop Dance Institute, where he was ranked third best electronic music producer. That same year, he made his official debut with a double vinyl release, published and distributed globally by the historic New York label West End Records,
a milestone that marked the beginning of his global artistic journey. Also in 2004, he collaborated with Ian Carey (Soul Providers) on a remix of Beso, a track produced together with DJ Kons.

Born in Sardinia into a family deeply rooted in music—most notably thanks to his father Paolo “OTIS”, a renowned Sardinian jazz pianist and member of the well-known band Mammuthones—Daniele developed a strong passion for keyboards, synthesizers, and sound experimentation from an early age. Spending much of his childhood in rehearsal rooms alongside his father’s band, he absorbed jazz influences which, combined with modern electronic sounds, inspired him to craft a personal style blending electro, techno, house, and progressive, shaping the distinctive sound that defines him today.

After moving to Europe to broaden his horizons, DnC Groove settled in Amsterdam, where he consolidated his career while expanding internationally. His performances have lit up iconic festivals such as Dance Valley (with around 20,000 attendees) and Sensation (with about 10,000 people), while his DJ sets have energized some of the most renowned clubs in the Dutch capital, including Mazzo, Superclub, Marcanti, Moore, Escape, Sinners, Odeon, and Waakzamheid, where he also held multiple residencies from Thursday to Saturday—and often on Sundays. He has also collaborated on numerous international radio shows, further expanding his global reach. His live career extends far beyond the Netherlands: he has performed in Miami for the Winter Music Conference, in the Dutch Antilles (Curaçao), London, the Berlin Love Parade, and Ibiza, collaborating with the legendary Amnesia – People from Ibiza. He has also played in Greece, France (notably headlining New Year’s Eve 2004 under the Eiffel Tower before more than 20,000 people),and across Italy. His high-energy sets have gained worldwide recognition and have been broadcast by prestigious outlets such as BBC Radio 1 with Pete Tong and Roger Sanchez’s Release Yourself radio show.

Beyond his work as a DJ and producer, DnC Groove is also an entrepreneur: in 2004 he founded CO² Amsterdam, which became the foundation of his record labels CO² Recordings, Fr3ak3rz Records, and Perfect Records. Active since 2006, these labels were among the first in Italy and the Netherlands to distribute music in digital format, anticipating the MP3 revolution with a pioneering platform that allowed users to purchase and download new releases directly to their computers.

Today, these labels remain active online, boasting hundreds of releases from both DnC Groove and international artists. Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with true legends of electronic music, including Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry, Marco Carola, Ricardo Villalobos, Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Marco V, Seb Fontaine, Fedde Le Grand, and many others. Always in search of new sounds and innovations, DnC Groove continues to redefine the boundaries of underground music, pushing his evolution forward. His productions are available on leading digital platforms such as Beatport, iTunes, Amazon Music, Traxsource, Deezer, Apple Music, SoundCloud, Spotify, and YouTube Music, reaching an ever-growing global audience.

In 2025, DnC Groove has shifted his focus exclusively to music production. In the first months of the year, he has already released several successful tracks at a global level. In July 2025 alone, he signed four contracts with four different record labels: Bassfeature Records, Gimmick Records, Natural Rhythm Records, and Rice Bowl Recordings. Several new releases are now ready and will be available online in the coming days.
