Luy Hernan is a musician / producer born in Tenerife (Canary Islands) has always been linked to electronic music but only a few years ago that is dedicated to the production of techhouse, deephouse ect. moved by the night scene of the islands, he works in the past editing with Mexican music labels such as Xela Digital, Bit Records Mexico and Kansak Recordings, also in My first loved records, Humano Records, and others labels,, actually works with Deepsessions Recordings, Crossland Music, Roof Terrace Music, Polimnia Records, Polyptych Limited White in a a constant sound evolution.
With 35 years of experience in the Canary Islands’ electronic music scene, DJ Drummer is synonymous with expertise, versatility, and passion for music. His extensive journey behind the decks has allowed him to master a wide range of styles, from powerful techno to deep house, while seamlessly incorporating contemporary progressive house as well as the most refined sounds of lounge and chill-out.
Throughout his career, DJ Drummer has shared the booth or stage with top international artists such as Jeff Mills, Derrick May, Pascal FEOS, Marco Carola, Mirko Loko, Cristian Varela, Sacha Dive, Loco Dice, Andrea Galuzzi, Anja Schneider, M.A.N.D.Y., Nina Kraviz, Ben Sims, among others. His versatility has also led him to collaborate with artists from diverse genres including Steve Lawler, Danny Howells, DJ Tennis, and Silicone Soul, performing at renowned festivals and events such as El Row, La Misa, Magma Meeting, Eólica, Cabeza de Perro, Image, Canarias Experience, Arona Summer, I Love Music, Ritmos del Mundo, Tropicana Experience, and Canarias Baila.
His talent has taken him to iconic cities such as Barcelona, Ibiza, and Valencia (Barraca), as well as across most of the Canary Islands, including Lanzarote, La Palma, Fuerteventura, and Gran Canaria. DJ Drummer’s sets are defined by their energy and consistency, delivering a unique dancefloor experience where cutting-edge and underground electronic music takes center stage. He also adapts his sound to sunset sessions, creating deep, lounge, and chill atmospheres, showcasing his ability to read and transform any environment.
