Having learned to play the piano as a child he then went on to developed a passion for electronic music which finally led him to start writing music of his own.After realising his real name, Janne, was too complex to pronounce outside of Finland he took on the name “Jean” inspired by the famous Finnish composer Jean Sibelius (also a Janne) who similarly adopted the name 130 years earlier.
