Kevin Balen is the name behind the DJ and music producer Kevin Leichtweis Balensiefer.Influenced by the strong grunge movement of the 1990s, Kevin leaned towards music and began his career at the age of 11 when he received his first guitar.In 2006, at the age of 15, realizing he had a greater ease with drums and rhythm, he switched the guitar for the acoustic drums. After 9 years as a drummer, he decided in 2015 to swap the drums for CDJs, starting his career as a DJ and music producer.Bringing a strong rhythmic influence from his past, his sound identity is composed of a lot of percussion, striking basslines, progressiveness, and melodies.
