Acid is Music not Drugs. This little yellow smiley face and the sound behind it planted the seed for my musical development. I immediately tried mixing at birthday parties with two cassette decks, which actually went down well with the partygoers. Algorithms already fascinated me in mathematics, so I got the chance to program algorithmic tracks for hacker intros on the Amiga. With my first paycheck, I bought two 1210s and a Numark mixer, and when I went to the disco, I didn’t look at the girls, but watched the DJs spinning. My first gigs followed in smaller discos and at numerous birthday and private parties. My production equipment grew, and a live act in 1996 at X-Mas in Ingolstadt in front of several thousand people can be considered my first milestone. Since the techno scene in Ingolstadt was always limited to the same minimal electro stuff, and as time went on, I spent a few years just listening to all kinds of electronic music and went to my first goa parties in Austria. Of course, these impressions, the flair, the people, the spirit, and the sound blew me away. I switched to a MIDI controller and have been playing mainly progressive psytrance. In recent years, I have focused on the production of psychedelic techno and psyhouse and I am constantly developing my skills in the areas of the definition of clear, immersive sounddesign and creating soundscapes and journeying through the universe of sound, whereby the boundaries between genres often blur. When DJing, I try to convey the feeling this music gives me to the dance floor. Sets at Filmriss im Ohrakel, Nico Electronic Events at Ampere, Eventhalle, or Bhudda in Ingolstadt, at the Stampfen parties of Goa this is life at Schwarzer Adler in Tannheim, and guest appearances at Laubrauschen in the Magische Halle in Halle or Forever Young and FMF-Meetup by fmf-recordings have already caught the attention of many. I’m looking forward to everything that’s coming and wish myself and all of you awesome parties with great people and phenomenal music!
