Augenblick – Arctica Ep
Russian producer Alexander Aldobaev makes debut on Deepsessions with 2 Original tracks.
The main track of the Ep »Arctica» is a dark atmospheric Progressive House track with strong bassline and Trance influences.
The second track »Sequenta» is more deep and melodic with tech elements, especially for deep sessions.
The 215th release on Deepsessions is out this week and once again it finds the Greek label showcasing some new talent. Augenblink makes his debut on the label here after releases on Acunadeep, Hollin Hill and One Sound. Augenblink’s first EP for Deepsessions is entitled “Arctica” and it comes with two brand new original tracks.
The title track leads the EP off with a cool deep trance vibe that comes with some nice dance floor energy. The deep, chugging nature of the bass line locks down a killer groove while the wispy atmospheres and haunting vocal samples lay down a wicked hypnotic break. The companion piece “Sequenta” comes with an even more hypnotic sound with trippy lead lines, spoken word vocals and a phasing atmospheric back drop which works very well with the groove. The unique thing about both these tracks is that they are quite shorter than your average progressive trance track, both clocking in at around 5 minutes which keeps the ideas really fresh for the dance floor. A great EP from Augenblink who we hope to hear more from very soon.
