Kimerik Blaze, born Daniel S. Fernandez, is an electronic dance music producer, singer and songwriter out of the small town of Santa Paula, California. His exposure to music began at a very early age. Being the son of the music artist Chayin y Sus Invisibles, Mexican music was a big part of his childhood upbringing. Yet, his love and exposure to dance music began in his early teens roughly around the same time he began to learn the piano. “I still remember those never ending rehearsals with my dad. Being a young teen, I wasn’t really interested in learning. Yet, I always knew I wanted to do music, but something more synthetic upbeat sounding. I actually ended up performing Si Tu Te Vas by Enrique Iglesias (Techno Remix) at one my dad’s gigs. This was back in 1998, I was 13 and so nervous. I remember thinking to myself, I never want to sing or perform live ever again”.
