Selim Gaston is a young tunisian dj based in the capital tunis,selim began djing 7 years ago at the age of 14. Influenced originally by the likes of Guy Gerber, James Zabiela and John Digweed. Selim now lists Hernan Cattaneo as the one person who he follows for his inspiration. Three years into his seven year djing journey Selim chose to follow the dark progressive route again listing Hernan Cattaneo and artists such as the iraeli master of dark sounds moshic as his driving forces. He played in festivals and in the high rated places of Tunis like ‘La Suite’ , ‘LeFirst’ , ‘Delphina Beach’ , ‘Le Boeuf sur le toit’ … He has played sets at many different international radio stations such as : Siren FM (UK), Innervisions Radio (UK), Radio Pozitive (Russia), Mosaique FM (Tunisia) ... Selims versatility as a dj is reflected in his sets equally at home playing deep house,hypnotic techno or all types of progressive especially dark this unique talent truely is a master of the turntables regularly playing a variety of venues all with varying music policies once again reinforces Selims versatility as a dj for all occasions. His first EP out September 21st , 2010 with the Portuguese label "Lad Publishing & Records>> … Selim is considered one of the most promising DJ prodigy Tunisia.
